Advanced Gym

Gymnasts must have completed badge one of the British Gymnastics Awards

Advanced Gym

Our Advanced Gym classes are for gymnasts who have reached a good standard of gymnastics and would like the challenge of learning more complex skills.

Advanced classes run for two hours and all gymnasts must have completed badge one of the British Gymnastics Awards.

During the two-hour session gymnasts will learn and develop more body management and improved strength and conditioning, which will allow them to be successful in acquiring more difficult gymnastics skills and elements.

Gymnasts will also have the opportunity to work towards Bronze, Silver and Gold British Gymnastics Awards on floor, vault and apparatus.

If competitions are something that motivates you to work hard, then gymnasts will also be able to work towards our competition squad. As part of the competition squad, you will enter floor and vault competitions within the region competing against other gymnastics clubs.

How your school can budget
for English on the Move

PE and Sport Premium

Memorable learning experiences, coupled with physical movement, boost engagement. The result? Greater retention of information.

Pupil Premium

English on the Move raises the confidence and attainment of your pupils and ‘closes the gap’.

PE and Sport Premium

English on the Move introduces innovative methods and helps your pupils achieve national standards in English.

The impact of English on the Move is constantly measured and shared via an online platform and regular reports. This gives you invaluable data to justify your spend and provide key evidence to Ofsted.

Funding for Balance-Ability

Schools can utilize their Sport Premium Funding with Balance-Ability meeting the following targets:

  • Embedding physical activity into the school day through active travel to and from school, active break times and active lessons and teaching.

  • Develop or add to the PE, Physical Activity and Sport that your school provides.

  • Providing targeted activities or support to involve and encourage the least active children.

Hassle free evidence and impact for teachers

RB Gym and Sport Educators ensure that Balance-ability is a progressive 'outcome based' learning programme where children are assessed at regular points throughout the course in order to monitor and measure progress. Schools will receive assessment data to help them account for physical literacy within children and a short impact report to help evidence the programme to Ofsted and use in your Sport Premium Evidence and Impact report.

All resources included

All Balance-ability sessions come with:

  • An accredited RB Gym and Sport Balance-ability Instructor

  • Balance-ability bikes and pedal bikes

  • Balance and co-ordination training aids

  • Road awareness signs and course cones

  • Visual activity cards

I would whole-heartedly recommend RB Gym and Sport for any school looking for high-quality professionals with a clear understanding of the Primary PE Curriculum.
